Adding dense layers of soundproofing products helps to achieve a required sound experience in a movie theatre. We suggest a 3 layer soundproofing and acoustic treatment with Layer 1 of SoundBlanket® sound isolator, layer 2 of BassBloc® Low frequency absorber and layer 3 of Versatile Acoustics acoustic foam panels for mid and high frequency absorber.

SoundBlanket® MLV : Mass Loaded Vinyl

SoundBlanket® Mass Loaded Vinyl noise barrier is a high-density soundproofing membrane which can easily spread on floors, ceilings, and walls to isolate sound from one space to another. Mass Loaded Vinyl is used for auditorium soundproofing to block low-frequency sounds. MLV comes in roll form and is available in different thicknesses.

BassBloc® : Low Frequency Absorber

BassBloc® is a high-density polyurethane based bass absorber which easily blocks high and mid sound frequencies. Easily sticks over brick wall, wooden wall, Soundblanket®, cement board etc with adhesive. Majorly used inside the wall grid sections in replacement of mineral wool for sound absorption. Because of it’s high density it can be used on floors and covered with carpets or wooden flooring for reducing the sound transmission.

Acoustic Foam Panels

Our Acoustic Foam Panels are extensively used to absorb sound reflections and are rated as one of the best products in acoustic treatment. Available in various sizes, colors, and designs to suit every project’s needs, the Pyramid, Turbo, and Wedge designs are particularly favored. These panels boast a Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) greater than 0.90, making them ideal for studios, home theaters, conference halls, offices, and more.
